Tree Works in the Highway

A programme of selective arboriculture work will be undertaken from 5th – 9th October on roads surrounding the former North Worcestershire Golf Course.

The work has been identified by Birmingham City Council as the Highway authority for immediate attention and will involve the crown lift of a number of trees and the cutting back vegetation in order to remove an existing hazard of encroachment and overhang of branches onto Frankley Beeches Road, Elan Road, Hanging Lane and Tessall Lane.

The works will be undertaken by contractors appointed on behalf of the Golf Club and are subject to approval by the City Council of a submitted Tree Preservation Order application. Mobile Traffic Management measures will be employed for the duration of the works and disruption for local residents will be minimised as far as possible.
